Talks between AC Milan and the LA Galaxy over an immediate permanent transfer have broken down after an initial offer was rejected, reports Jeremy Wilson at the Telegraph, with the clubs well apart in their valuations of the former England captain. Good news for England, however, as Scientology is proving to be too much for young Becks to deal with and, using the national team as an excuse, he is apparently willing to make a ‘contribution‘ towards a solution that would mean extending his loan deal with Milan until the end of June. How heartwarming to hear of a player putting football first, if that’s what a place in the Milan team represents.
