Anyone doubting Rio Ferdinand’s credentials as a character in the next Muppets movei should merely read on:

Why do his teams suck so badly?
‘Jose Mourinho has the experience and character to succeed Sir Alex Ferguson at Manchester United should the Scot choose to retire, Rio Ferdinand says. Mourinho, the former Chelsea manager, is now in charge at Internazionale – United’s opponents in the last 16 of the Champions League. Ferdinand told GQ magazine there were “very few” people who could handle taking over from the 67-year-old Ferguson, but the Portuguese had the right character to manage United. “If you’re talking about someone with the ego and personality to do it, then Jose Mourinho is the name that jumps out at you,” the England defender said.’
OK, so the fool has a point about very few people being able to handle the position at all, never mind taking over from Sir Alex – Mourinho undoubtedly has the bottle to do so – but does anyone really think that Mourinho’s style of football would be adequate for Old Trafford. He’d last about a month of his team getting booed off after crack-addiction inspiring 1-0 wins before quitting in a mega strop.
No chance in hell of this ever happeining.
