Like all self-respecting Beetle owners, I am, at least nominally, a Wolfsburg fan. The team set up by the VW workers back in the day are finally meeting their potential after decades of crapness, and have now reached the heady heights of second in the Bundesliga after last night’s seven-goal stormer of a match against perennial under-achievers Schalke.
