Confederations Cup excitement

By ‘excitement’ I of course mean drudgery, probably a new meaning of ‘excitement’ that you hadn’t previously come across.

Spain 1 – 0 Iraq

Spain showed why they are one of the favourites for the world cup after trouncing mighty Iraq, stretching their unbeaten streak to 34 matches thanks to David Villa’s second half header against Iraq.

South Africa 2 – 0 New Zealand

Big Bernard Parker bagged himself a brace to see off New Zealand. The first came on 21 minutes and the second finished some patient build-up play early in the second half. Do you care?
