Life outside the Premier League

That’s right, lovely people, life really does exist outsides the razzle dazzle of that there Premier League. In fact, I’m thinking of proposing a breakaway League and excluding any Prem teams from joining. We’ll see how long it takes UEFA to discount the closeds shop the current top division would become and kick them out of European competitions. Am I dreaming?

Big Roberto Di Matteo got his first league win as West Brom manager thanks to an own goal from Chris Cohen and a missed penalty by home substitute Robert Earnshaw at the City Ground. Forest continue the descent into Hell.

Plymouth 1 – 1 QPR

Heidar Helguson’s first-half header looked enough to give Rangers boss Jim Magilton the first three-point haul of his managerial reign, until Jamie Mackie capped a late period of pressure from the hosts with a dramatic leveller.
