Dynamo Moscow 0 – 2 Celtic (Agg. 1-2)

Yes! Celtic scored the crucial away goal to level the tie in Moscow a few minutes before the break, mighty Scott McDonald heading home a Hinkel cross. Celtic closed out the half by having to clear a Dynamo attack off their own goal line. With the match looking destined for extra time big Georgios Samaras bagged a 90th minute goal to send the Bhoys into the group stage after their first European away win for six years.

Olympiakos 2 – 0 Slovan Bratislava (Agg. 4-0)

Big Enzo Maresca’s header on 35 minutes gave Olympiakos a first half lead over Slovan Bratislava. Early in the second half the Greeks added a second, Diogo’s diving header finishing off a free-flowing attack.

Levski Sofia 2 – 0 FK Baku (Agg. 2-1)

Second half goals from Hristo Yovov and the legendary Georgi Hristov put the Bulgarians into the next round.

FC Timisoara 0* – 0 Shakhtar Donetsk (Agg. 2-2)

The Romanians caused a huge upset by knocking out the UEFA Cup winners on away goals from the first leg.

Partizan Belgrade 1 – 0 APOEL Nicosia (Agg. 1-2)

There will be Cypriots in the group stage. Cypriots.
