Late goals from Robin van Persie and Andrey Arshavin gave the Gunners victory over Olympiakos. I’d already fallen asleep by then though.
Fiorentina 2 – 0 Liverpool
I don’t know if ‘crapola’ is a word, but it should be as it would sum up this load of cods-wallop perfectly. Even Rafael Benítez criticised his team’s banal performance after a Stevan Jovetic brace condemned them to a lame defeat.
APOEL Nicosia 0 – 1 Chelsea
Manchester United 2 – 1 Wolfsburg
