Remember when you were young and the most important thing about reaching the Cup Final was the song your team recorded to commemorate the occasion? Those really were the days. The early ’70s were the absolute zenith of the phenomenon with Chelsea’s 1970 opus perhaps the pick of the lot.

This is a rare film of Chelsea’s first team in 1970, recording the anthem ‘Blue is the Colour‘, featuring the likes of Peter Osgood, Ian Hutchinson, Chopper Harris, Dave Webb, Alan Hudson, Alan Harris, Eddie McCreadie, Charlie Cook, John Hollins, Marvin Hinton and Tommy Baldwin, among other greats.
