Bolton 2-2 Birmingham

Bolton’s 10 men battled back to deny a classier Birmingham side victory in a feisty affair at the Reebok Stadium (download). The visitors took the lead after just three minutes when Roger Johnson slid home after a great move down the left. Trotters keeper Jussi Jaaskelainen was sent off for a needless slap on Johnson just before half-time, after which Craig Gardner prodded home a second. Then Kevin Davies coolly converted a penalty before substitute Robbie Blake fired in a brilliant late free-kick.
