Chelsea 4-0 Blackpool
Chelsea brushed aside Blackpool to extend their lead at the top of the Premier League to four points (download - 17mb). Salomon Kalou tapped home from a corner in the second minute before Florent Malouda struck from short range. Didier Drogba's deflected strike made it 3-0 before Malouda scored his second with a low shot just before the break.

Spain striker Fernando Torres volleyed in to give an unconvincing Liverpool (download) a somewhat lucky victory over West Brom at Anfield. Torres struck his first goal of the season by clinically converting a Dirk Kuyt cross from the edge of the box.
Wolverhampton 1-1 Newcastle
Newcastle's Andy Carroll canceled out Sylvan Ebanks-Blake's marvellous opener for Wolves to add further weight to his case for an England call-up. Newcastle United 6-0 Aston Villa
Will Kevin MacDonald remember this as the day he decided he did not want to be Aston Villa's manager after all?
