FC Twente 2-2 Internazionale
Internazionale began the defence of their Champions League title (download) by taking the lead and then coming from behind to draw 2-2 in torrential rain at FC Twente Enschede. Amazingly, only a dozen participants in the 2009-10 Champions League have made it into the 2010-11 edition.
Utrecht 4-0 Celtic (agg 4-2)
Having began the season with high hopes of reaching the group stage of the Champions League, Celtic now find themselves dumped out of the lowly Europa League after they let a two-goal first-leg lead slip to lose 4-0 at FC Utrecht (download).
