Big Andrey Arshavin bagged the winner for Arsenal as they showed the steel needed to overcome a committed Blackburn (download). Theo Walcott gave the Gunners the lead at Ewood Park, powering an angled shot past Paul Robinson after a slick move, but Mame Biram Diouf tapped in from an El-Hadji Diouf pass as Rovers impressively equalised.

Birmingham 2-1 Blackburn
Craig Gardner scored twice as Birmingham came from behind to beat Blackburn in a really good game. Michael Oliver (at 25) became the youngest-ever Premier League referee and didn't do a bad job to be fair.
Blackburn Rovers v Aston Villa (1904)
April, 1904 and Blackburn Rovers are hosting Aston Villa, looking for the points that would help them in the relegation dogfight. Blackburn would successfully avoid the drop, by 2 points (at the expense of Liverpool), while Villa would finish 5th in a season when the league was won by 'The Wednesday'.
