Mesut Özil’s Real Madrid debut
On 17th August Werder Bremen announced that they had reached an agreement with Real Madrid to sell the star of the World Cup Mesut Özil. The transfer fee is believed to have been in the region of €15m. He made his debut on 22nd in a friendly match against Hércules, which Real Madrid won 1–3. Here's how he got on.
